The father of the ‘World Wide Web’ wants to recreate cyberspace

The NFT-identified files contain nearly 9,555-line code, the content of which includes the use of three languages and agreements established by Sir Tim that remain fundamental to the World Wide Web today; HTML (Hypertext Marking Language), HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol), and URIs (Uniform Resource Identifiers), as well as original HTML documents that instructed web users on how to use the application.

“Thirty years ago, I created something that, with the help of a large number of participants worldwide, became a powerful tool for humanity. For me, the most important thing about the web has been the spirit of cooperation. While I do not make predictions about the future, I hope that its use, information, and power will remain open and accessible to all of us to continue innovating, creating, and initiating the next technological revolution, which we cannot imagine at present. NFTs, be it works of art or digital art like this, are the latest toys in this state, and the most appropriate forms of ownership are available. They are a great way to package the web, ”said Sir Tim Berners-Lee.

Explaining why he offered to sell as NFT Lee said:

“Why NFT? Yes, it is only natural to do so as a computer scientist and code writer and for many years. Sounds good to sign my autograph on digital artifact completely”.
