China unveils new images taken by rover Zhurong on Mars

Images were unveiled at a ceremony in Beijing, signifying complete success of China’s first mars exploration mission

BEIJING: The China National Space Administration (CNSA) on Friday revealed new images were taken in the country for the first time, the Zhurong car, which describes a Chinese national flag on the red planet.

The images were presented at a ceremony in Beijing marking the success of China’s first Mars exploration mission.

It includes a timer, with a panoramic view of the landing site, and, to a Martian landscape, and a selfie of the rover from the landing platform.
