Borderlands 2 Free Download
The surprisingly successful shooter gets a sequel.
Borderlands 2 is the first person to shoot with an RPG simulation. It is distinctive in its dignified paintings, over-the-top weapons, and ammunition.
We saw a demo of the first gameplay of Borderlands 2 where the player starts in the cold desert, and then quickly encounters certain monsters that live in the snow. This has shown the AI of the advanced enemy in the game: they use their positions wisely, the enemies not only attack, but they will find objects to throw at you and try to stay on high. With humanoid enemies, this expanded intelligence is very visible – they work in teams to meet you, get back when you’re injured, and more.
All the battles in Borderlands 2 were intense and impressive, without feeling labeled. The range of weapons is very different, with the new use-and-disposal guns called Tediores looking really cool – they have bullets in them, but you can throw them again like bombs, making them very flexible.
The equipment shown has seen you meet a women’s alarm in an interactive player mode, rescuing Roland, a character from the first game. He was caught by a large roaming robot, hiding in an area guarded by robots armed with mines. To combat these as Roland was removed from the industrial base, we saw enemy rescue robots shot from the moon, which looked very cool and emphasized an amazing scale. The moonbase can strike anywhere in the world of Pandora, led by ‘Handsome Jack’, who tries to bring law and order through violence.
There were a lot of macabre, violent jokes along the way, and the demo ended with the start of what seemed to be a huge boss battle. The player was thrown into a very high building with a huge robot. The views from here, when there is time to look at, were really impressive, and the large area we could clearly see was all explored in Borderlands 2.
